Tesla has completely rebooted its hiring effort beyond artificial intelligence and robotics, after freezing hiring amid multiple waves of layoffs across the company.

Elon Muskstormed into the company earlier this quarter and laid off about 15-20% of Tesla's staff.
Sources said Musk had significantly reduced his involvement at Tesla over the past year, but the CEO has asserted his dominance amid a proxy battle over the CEO's compensation plan, which was overturned by a judge earlier this year.
Musk fired many of Tesla's top executives while others left.
With these layoffs, Tesla has effectively put a hiring freeze in place as well.
A few weeks ago, it was reported that Tesla had restarted its hiring, but only for the “AI and robotics” department.

The hiring freeze now appears to be officially over in the US, as Tesla has posted hundreds of new positions across various departments – but mainly service and sales:
Tesla's layoffs have affected its service, sales, and delivery departments, even though there are enough staff in many areas. This has had a huge impact on morale as employees have not only lost friends and colleagues, but have also seen their already heavy workloads increase.
In some cases, Tesla is expected to rehire some of the employees it let go, with these hires following previous rounds of layoffs and, more recently, Tesla's entire charging team.
In addition to the service and sales jobs, the automaker also posted several new positions at its under-construction lithium refinery in Robstown , Texas .
