Rivian today announced a new initiative to attract customers, offering attractive discounts to those who choose to purchase or lease a new R1 EV by June 30, 2024, provided that certain conditions are met. In addition to the immediate financial reward for purchasing or leasing an R1, customers will also have the opportunity to benefit from a year of free use of the Rivian Adventure Network (RAN) charging network, adding even more value to the already existing offer.

R1T Standard, Standard+ package – $3,000 / $4,500 CAD
R1T Large Pack – $4,000 / $6,000 CAD
R1T Max Pack – $5,000 / $7,500 CAD
R1S Large Pack – $1,000 / $1,500 CAD
Additional terms per Rivian:
Any Rivian model and package selection not listed above is not eligible for this offer. To be eligible, Rivian vehicle configurations must be selected and acquired either through purchase or lease from the online store. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve the desired configuration through the Shop. The discount will be applied during the purchase or lease process of the Rivian R1 vehicle.
Rivian points out that in order for R1 buyers/lessees to be eligible for the above discounts, they must trade in an internal combustion vehicle, but not just any gas car, as it must be one of the following.
Audi:
Q5, Q7, Q8 – 2018 or newer
BMW:
X3, X5, X7 – 2018 or newer
Ford:
F-150, Explorer, Expedition, Bronco (except Bronco Sport) – 2018 or newer
Jeep:
Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Gladiator – 2018 or newer
Toyota:
Tacoma, Tundra, Highlander, 4Runner – 2018 or newer

Rivian is taking a smart step by clearing the roads of internal combustion vehicles and promoting the R1 EV, while also taking initiatives that tie into the offerings of some of its gas.
