It's already been an excellent time for mid-range Android phones, and it's only been three months. The Nothing Phone 2a is a great choice if you're looking for one of the most affordable new mid-range Android phones on the market. Then there's the Galaxy A55, which could be considered a Galaxy S24 and offers quite a few exciting features for an A-series model.

Also, the Pixel 8a Google's is expected to be released in May, and I believe it will be the phone that Apple will have to beat the iPhone SE 4 when it is released next year.
These are amazing options, and we're not even mentioning the first ones Android flagship of the year, which are even better. These include the Galaxy S24, the Xiaomi 14 models and the Honor Magic 6 Pro.
However, some Galaxy devices such as for example the A55 is not available in the US either this shows how good it is or the Samsung doesn't want you to get the A55 instead of the Galaxy S24.

This Android phone will be in the high mid-range category because of its price. But the features will be those of a flagship phone of a slightly lower class. It sounds like a mess exactly because it is. It all boils down to the supposed features of the Phone 3 and the price Nothing wants to charge for it.
Nothing is not ready to make a true flagship to compete with the Galaxy S24 models. It probably never will. The Nothing Phone 2 from last year had an already old but flagship Snapdragon chip. It was a flagship phone by 2022 standards.
Nothing will continue this approach with the Phone 3, if 91mobiles is correct. Industry sources working closely with Nothing supposedly told the blog that the Phone 3 will feature the processor Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 of Qualcomm.

This is not the best Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor available in the Galaxy S24 models, despite what the "S" in its name might imply. It's a slightly worse version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that should still provide genAI features on the device, strong gaming support including ray tracing, fast connectivity, great camera features and high performance.
It won't be as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but the differences will probably be invisible to regular users.

Yes, the processor issue is confusing. But it will allow manufacturers like Nothing to create near-flagship-level devices that will be priced much better than true flagships. Most importantly, the Snapdragon 8s may be a much better value than the Exynos in the Galaxy A55 or the Tensor G3 in the Pixel 8a.
If you want to buy an Android device and use it for many years, the processor should be a priority.
The same blog also mentions the price of this alleged Nothing Phone 3 device. Apparently, Nothing is targeting the 480 to 540 dollars. This is just a rumor, looking at estimates of the main market of mid-range Android vendors.
But if the numbers are accurate, Nothing will likely target similar price ranges internationally. And, let's face it, a Nothing Phone 3 phone costing over $500 seems like an incredible deal, about as much as you'd pay for the Pixel 8a, which may cost more than its predecessor.

No release date in this report, but I wouldn't be surprised if Nothing releases the Phone 3 this summer. The company started advertising something on the X a few days ago, as seen in the video above.
If the Nothing Phone 3 is ready to be released in the next few months, we'll have plenty of offers by then, directly from the company Nothing.
It's worth noting that the Nothing Phone 3 may not turn out to be the best smartphone in its class. Or even the cheapest. If that happens, and you were waiting for nothing, there will certainly be excellent Opportunities on other phones Android to be released in the first half of 2024.
