SecNews presented on the show Zina to Vrady the anonymous survey it conducted in an attempt to investigate the percentage of people who have fallen victim to revenge porn.
Revenge porn is the distribution of sexually inappropriate images or videos of individuals without their consent. The material may have been created by a partner in a romantic relationship with the subject's consent at the time, or it may have been created without their knowledge.
The show Zina to Vradi also presented the personal stories of celebrities who fell victim to revenge porn, such as rapper Lamanif, the well-known model and actress Irene Stergianou, and the famous YouTuber and social media content creator , Elena Kremlidou
SecNews, through research for the show Zina to Vradi, attempted to investigate the statistics surrounding revenge porn and presents the relevant results below:
- 70% of those who participated in the survey are under 34 years old
- The survey was conducted with 37% men and 63% women
- 32% of participants have been victims of revenge porn
- 13% of those who declared themselves victims are men

- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok etc.) – 55%

- Blog/Website – 9%
- Pornographic Websites – 17%
- Regarding who posted their photos/videos
- 45.5% said they are a former romantic partner
- 27.3% extramarital affair
- 27% do not know the person
- 90% said their mental health was affected
- 72% did not receive relevant support from their family environment
- About 65% had received threats before the material was published
- 54% sought help from a social service
- 63% have not revealed to their loved ones that something like this is happening in their lives
- 72% have not reported the incident to the police
