Microsoft GitHub: Offers businesses new AI Coding tool

This version can answer questions based on a company's programming coding. This feature was designed to help new engineers achieve speed and allow more experienced programmers to work more efficiently.

GitHub, which allows developers to collaborate on coding projects, has integrated the artificial intelligence in products and services in order to attract more subscribers. The new Copilot Enterprise will cost $39 (~€36) per user per month and will have AI chat features to help engineers in problem solving, upgrade programs and much more.

"When you join a large company, many things are very different from what you were used to in your previous job." As mentioned by Managing Director of GitHub, Thomas Dohmke, in a statement, "You no longer need to do this. You can just ask questions and get the answers you need."

In the coming months, GitHub will allow engineers to use their employer's coding tool to help autocomplete projects they are working on, said Thomas Dohmke. This could be particularly useful for companies financial services or other businesses that use internal programming languages not widely used elsewhere, and for customers with specific internal processes. Even Applications of Microsoft Office use the C and C++ languages in ways that are not usually communicated.

Microsoft reports the successful Application of GitHub Copilot, which is based on the Technology of the partner OpenAI. Copilot has been used as a template for revising many Microsoft products, including Office and Windows, around similar technologies.

GitHub charges 19 $ (~17,50€) per month per user for the basic version of GitHub. Copilot, which already has 50,000 corporate customers.
