Riot 2XKO

The last few months have been very important for the Games battle, with the appearance of Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. And there's another potential big player waiting in the wings, as Riot prepares to enter the battle with 2XKO.

The game's catchy title certainly doesn't sound very enticing, it's not exactly something that will be easily attributed. Some of those who commented in a video on YouTube in which Riot made the announcement, they submitted the idea that the "Double KO" would be better. Hard not to agree.

The name comes from the format of 2XKO. It's a 2 vs 2 tag-based fighting game, inspired by a concept made popular by the series Marvel vs. Capcom. You can play alone or hire a friend as a partner and face off against another duo. Riot also reports that 2XKO will feature simplified commands and mechanics to help players get started, but notes that there will be "a high level of depth and skill“.

In the game preview video, 2XKO looks pretty solid. It is distinguished by Riot's distinctive grinding plane with smooth movements and distinct, impressive Appearance for every character in LoL. It's just sad that he has that name.

Riot plans to release the 2XKO at PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025. As with its other top titles, the 2XKO will be a free-to-play game.
