Google offers tools and investments in cybersecurity, such as the open-source Magika malware. Major companies, such as Adobe, Amazon and Microsoft, have entered into agreements to safeguard against the use of AI in electoral processes. Cyberspace has been described as “a new battlefield” by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Artificial intelligence is both a tool for solving and a source of problems in cyberspace, with intensive operations to contain them.

Technological development has reached new levels with the application of genetic artificial intelligence, as Sundar Pichai said in Munich. A Microsoft revealed that hackers from Russia, China and Iran are exploiting OpenAI's large language model to deceive victims. In particular, organizations such as the Russian military and Iran's Revolutionary Guard are using these tools. Mark Hughes of DXC Technology notes that attacks are increasingly sophisticated, using tools such as WormGPT, inspired by ChatGPT.
