Facebook is adding new features to the platform, including the ability to test the performance of different Reels.
In Reels, users will be able to set up to four different thumbnails or captions for a single video during a test. According to the feature's images, different versions will be shown to different groups of a creator's audience for 30 minutes.

At the end of the trial period, the version with the most games will “win” and appear on the creator’s profile unless they decide to change it. The feature is currently only available on mobile devices, and Meta says it may also offer AI tools for creating captions and thumbnails in the future.
Meta also announced a few features that will make content management easier. In a creator's professional dashboard, they will now be able to monitor the performance of all their posts and take actions like hiding posts from their profile or moving them to the trash.
Users will receive additional data about the performance of their content on Facebook. The platform will offer users visibility for 90 days, compared to the previous 28 days.
Other new Facebook features include the performance of a video relative to other videos of a user, a viewer retention metric that shows when audience engagement dropped, as well as the number of views that include repeats of a video.
