APPLE has raised the value limit for trade-ins of older iPhone, benefiting millions of customers. However, this does not apply to the company's UK customers.

This is a way for Apple users to earn money, as they can return their old products, such as iPads, Macs , and Apple Watches, and receive cash.
The tech giant has raised the maximum amount customers in the US can spend on their favourite electronics, on some items up to a limit of $30 (£24).
Although this price increase usually only applies to newer devices released in the last four years or so, some UK have fallen nonetheless.
Apple sometimes doesn't offer trade-ins for your old, broken, or broken devices. The company's trade-in values are almost always lower than those offered by third-party companies or mobile service providers. To account for defects, the maximum trade-in value is usually reduced.
If Apple doesn't offer a discount on a device you own, you can hand it in to the company and they will recycle it at no additional charge.

Alternatively, you can donate it.
You can use Virgin Media O2's Community Call scheme, in partnership with Hubbub. Vodafone's Great British Tech Appeal or you could try Three's Reconnected.

You don't need to be on the above networks to donate your devices. However, once it's reinstalled, each recipient has access to free dataso they can use the device.
