“Your Apple TV uses an on-device algorithm to detect flashing or strobe lights included in supported video content and automatically reduces them on your TV in real time,” it says.
Overall, the support document focuses on reducing screen movement to help users. It warns that these settings “should not be used in cases of potential danger or injury, high-risk , and medical conditions.”
