The games run directly on the vehicle's entertainment system on its curved screen and are controlled using smartphones connected by scanning a QR code.

AirConsole has a library of over 180 casual games and connects to computers as well as Android, Google , and Amazon Fire.

Obviously the games will not be played while the vehicles are in motion.

“With AirConsole we will leverage innovative technologies in combination with a wide variety of fun and multiplayer games. This will make every idle situation in the vehicle, such as charging the car for example, a pleasant moment,” said Stephan Durach – Senior vice president BMW Group Connected Company Development.
