Twitter accuses Musk of sending Ellison a message late the night before he broke off the deal

Twitter has accused Elon Musk of concealing secret messages he sent late-night to business mogul Larry Ellison before he stopped a deal to buy the social media platform.

The Tesla titan and the Oracle co-founder exchanged messages "very late at night" before announcing he would put the $44 billion purchase "temporarily on hold", a court filing reportedly shows.

A court filing on Twitter from September 16th states that Musk's phone records show that Swap Messages with Ellison on May 12 and until 12:20 a.m. on May 13, according to Insider.
