To keep your conversations private and free from intruders, messaging apps provide something called End To End (E2E) encryption. Here's how to enable it on the popular messaging app Facebook Messenger.

End To End encryption is a secure method of communication that prevents unauthorized parties from accessing data as it is transferred from one end system or device to another. It is currently one of the most important pillars of online privacy. Some messaging apps that enable E2E are Telegram, Whatsapp , and Signal .
There may be many people who can only use Facebook Messenger for text messaging. And, if someone is adamant about using Facebook Messenger for messaging and wants to be sure that it is secure. You can start by enabling E2EE within the Facebook messenger app on your mobile device (Android or iOS).
How do you activate it?
Go to the bottom menu of the Messenger mobile app and select Conversations.
In the top right corner, click the Edit (it looks like a pen).
In the upper right corner, turn on the lock icon.
And you can start a conversation with the person you choose.

However, you can also enable E2EE if you are already chatting with the person and decide you want to.
Tap the information icon in the top right.
Click, Go to secret chat.
Additionally, you can also enable the Vanish feature.
Press the Vanish function button on the information page.
Activate the disappearing mode.
Although Whatsapp's new privacy policies don't inspire much confidence among users, it is still the main messaging service for many regions.

Aside from Whatsapp and Signal, there are a few other good options. However, you need to do your due diligence and figure out which messaging service suits you best in terms of usability and privacy.
