If you love video games, then you might be in the process of searching for a good laptop. Fortunately, there are many gaming laptops on the market, which meet different needs and are for every budget. Here we will look at some of the best high-end gaming laptops on the market.
First, however, we'll look at a few things you should keep in mind before making a purchase.
Focus on GPU: Most games are GPU-dependent. If you invest in a machine with a powerful GPU, you will have a better gaming experience.
Upgrade some components later: While the CPU and GPU aren't easily replaceable, there are other components on gaming laptops that can be changed, like RAM and storage. So you can buy something cheaper and then add more memory and a larger hard drive or SSD.
Battery life will probably be poor: Very few laptops can handle long hours of gaming, and you generally need a power supply to get the best gaming performance. However, things are starting to improve in this area.

MSI GE76 Raider
The MSI GE76 Raider is a great laptop that can replace your desktop. It offers very strong performance with components like an Intel Core i9-11980HK and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU. There's also a very good 1080p webcam.
The 17.3-inch display is bright and reaches 360 Hz, for those who want to play esports titles, such as Dota 2 or League of Legends.
Unlike other similar laptops, the Raider is not thin. It is quite large, but this is compensated by strong performance.
If you want something smaller, the GE66 Raideris also a good choice.
You should also keep in mind that it is a very expensive model and not everyone can easily buy it.
Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model (late 2021)
The latest Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model comes with some improvements that offer a better experience. For example, there is a 1080p webcam and more configurations with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440).
The Blade 15 Advanced comes with an Intel Core i7-11800H and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, which offer powerful performance.
It also has a 15.6-inch screen. It's a relatively thin laptop with a nice design and lots of ports.
Its negatives include its high price and productivity performance that needs improvements.
Alienware m17 R4
A very good 17-inch gaming notebook. It comes with the top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU with 165 W TGP, which ensures a strong performance.
It also has a nice, versatile RGB keyboard and attractive design.
And this laptop is quite expensive, while another negative element is its weight.

Acer Nitro 5
The Acer Nitro 5 can be considered the best gaming laptop for those on a budget.
It has pretty good performance and while it doesn't have such a bright screen, it comes with a comfortable keyboard and a decent webcam.
The laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600U CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.
In the future, you can also make some upgrades to have a better gaming experience.
Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition
The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition is the first laptop under AMD's Advantage program, which combines the company's CPUs and GPUs in premium designs, aimed at a comfortable gaming company.
Strix delivers powerful performance thanks to the Ryzen 9 5900Hz processor , Radeon RX 6800M GPU, and SmartShift technology.
The laptop also offers powerful audio with Dolby Atmos.
Its positives include battery life.
There are, of course, some negative elements such as the absence of a webcam, while the screen could be brighter.
Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 G733
If you want to play esports like a pro, you'll need a laptop with the fastest display you can find.
The Asus ROG Strix Scar G733 offers a 360 Hz refresh rate on its 17.3-inch FHD display and features top-notch components to enhance esports titles.
It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.
The design of the gaming laptop is unique, and may not be to everyone's liking.
But the comfortable keyboard, overall strong performance, and sound contribute to a powerful gaming experience, and that's what matters most.
Another negative element, besides the design, is the short length of the charging cable.
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro
If you're the type of gamer who prefers to sacrifice refresh rate in order to have a higher resolution, then you might want to choose the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro.
This laptop's screen has a much higher resolution than its competitors.
The laptop offers strong performance. The keyboard is also very comfortable.

Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551
Asus' latest ROG Zephyrus Duo uses AMD's top-of-the-line RYzen 9 5900HX paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 for powerful performance.
It also has a second screen that helps, among other things, improve the cooling system.
The two screens are bright although the location of the keyboard and mouse may not be considered as convenient, as is the case with most dual-screen notebooks.
So, while the second screen is ideal for gaming guides or music apps, it may not be the best choice for you because it makes typing difficult.
As for battery life, it's pretty good for a gaming notebook.
One negative element is the absence of a webcam.
These were some of the best gaming laptops. However, before you go ahead and buy a gaming laptop, do some research and look for the features that will best suit your needs.
