Bezos and Musk will face a new rival. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak appears to be starting his own space company called Privateer.

On Sunday night, Wozniak tweeted: “A private space company is starting, unlike any other.” The post also included a video promoting the new company, Privateer. In the video, phrases such as “Together we will go far,” “We will solve problems together,” “We are one planet,” “We are human and we must do what is right and good,” “We are here to take care of what we have so that the next generation can be better off, together.”
Steve Wozniak didn't give any further details about the space company. He simply posted the video, which shows footage from space, Earth, fires, clouds of smoke from factories, people reaching for the sky, a child in an astronaut suit, and more.

The Privateer site is in stealth mode, but it says that more details about the company will be announced at the AMOS Tech 2021 conference, which starts today in Maui, Hawaii, and runs through the end of the week.

According to the YouTube video description, Steve Wozniak founded Privateer with Alex Fielding, a member of the original iMac team.
However, Steve Wozniak's vision may not be the same as that of Elon Musk, Richard Branson , and Jeff Bezos. Woz is probably not interested in conquering space, instead, he may be planning to "clean up space."
This would be very useful, as the problem of “space junk” is big. Space exploration also has some negative aspects. Pieces of satellites, rockets and more lie above the Earth. In 2019, NASA described low Earth orbit as “the world’s largest garbage dump.”
