Apple 's new tracking and object-locating devices , AirTags , were officially unveiled by the company at its " Spring Loaded event ," which took place on Tuesday.

The beacon-style device works similarly to Bluetooth trackers from Tile and Samsung and can help you find lost items like keys, a backpack, and more, via the Find My app. The device will work with the upcoming iOS 14.5.

Apple AirTags cost $29 each or $99 for a pack of four and will be in stores for sale starting April 30.
But let's see how exactly AirTags are used:
Apple says that setting up AirTags is similar to how you turn on AirPods.
1. Find the Find My app on your iPhone or compatible Apple device. The app should be pre-installed, but you'll need to set it up.
2. Pair the AirTag with your iPhone. Essentially, what you need to do is bring the AirTag close to your iPhone to make the connection via Bluetooth.
3. Follow the on-screen steps to name your new item (e.g. “My Car Keys” if you have the AirTag attached to your keys) and register it with your Apple ID.
4. Once paired with the AirTag, you should be able to see it in the app under the “Items” tab, so you can track the current location of the keys.
You can attach AirTag to any object you want to track (keys, phone, laptop, or anything else).
Find nearby objects with AirTags or activate Lost Mode
If the item you want to locate is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Find My app to play a sound from your AirTag, which will help you find the item more easily. You can also ask Siri to find the item and the AirTag will make a sound if it's nearby. If you have an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12, you can take advantage of the Precision Finding feature, which will lead you to your AirTag.

If you've lost your item in a public place, you can put your AirTag in Lost Mode to receive a notification when it's within range or if it's located by the Find My network. If someone else finds your item with the AirTag, they can use their iPhone or other NFC-enabled device to take them to a website that will display your contact information (i.e. the owner's information), if you've set it up.
