Once again, the International Cybersecurity Institute (CSI Institute) proves not only its credibility, but also its immediacy and validity, values that have made it first in the hearts of millions of our fellow citizens in Greece and abroad.

The reason this time is the Facebook leak, which has been dominating the news in recent days. According to the information that has come to light so far, the accounts of Facebook users in Greece whose personal data has been leaked amount to approximately 620,000.
The International Cybersecurity Institute, and specifically its President, Manolis Sfakianakis, when the specific leak was announced, immediately and before anyone else informed the users, emphasizing that it was the company's duty to promptly inform users about the leak of their personal data (see the relevant excerpt in the video below). Something that is also confirmed in a relevant article in the newspaper "Kathimerini". Instead, and so far, there has been at least a deafening silence from the company's side.
In any case, the International Institute for Cybersecurity urges internet users to be particularly cautious when entering their personal data online and to immediately contact the Personal Data Protection Authority for a complaint if and when they consider that their personal data is at risk.
