During an interview with Kara Swisher, Tim Cook discusses his succession. As the interview comes to a close, Swisher asks Cook if he'll be at Apple in 10 years.
Cook says he probably won't be at Apple in 10 years, although "his departure date is not in the immediate future." He apparently gave no indication of who is set to replace him as CEO.

There has been a new focus on Apple's leadership plans, with the company seeing long-time executives like Jony Ive, Dan Riccio, and Phil Schiller step down from their executive roles in the past two years.
Tim Cook has been at Apple since 1997 and became CEO in 2011 after the death of company founder Steve Jobs. Cook celebrated his 60th birthday last year, and of course there is a lot of speculation about how long he will run the world's largest company.

Cook's response seems to suggest he will remain in his position for a while longer, with no specific date for his departure. Last year, Bloomberg reported that Apple was increasingly focused on succession planning, with Jeff Williams and John Ternus being considered as CEO candidates.

Here are Cook's answers:
Cook: Ten more years? Probably not. But I can tell you that I feel great right now and my retirement date is not in the immediate future. But ten more years is a long time.
Swisher: What would you do if you weren't running Apple?
Cook: I have no idea why I love this company so much, it's hard to imagine my life without it. And so I don't think I'll know what I'm going to do until I'm not here.
Swisher: Maybe you were just on vacation?
Cook: [laughs]
