The people of YouBeHero , who look to 2021 with optimism and hope, have taken stock of their progress so far. YouBeHero is a "fresh" Greek online platform that allows you to make your daily online purchases and at the same time become the "hero" of the charitable organizations of your choice.
Just with one click you can provide significant help to your fellow humans or to the environment. And all this without any extra charge to you or any other obligation. Simply by doing what you would do anyway: your online purchases.
Since April 2019, the ever-growing YouBeHero team has been making leaps and bounds. In 2020 alone, €4,075.26 was raised through purchases on the platform from 2647 purchases, compared to €914.93 raised in 2019 from 1076 purchases. At the same time, in 2020, the unique visitors to the “heroic” platform increased by 291%, reaching 2027, compared to 518 in 2019.
The number of new organization registrations on the platform also increased significantly and now this number is over 70 with participation from across the country.
The contribution of Nadia Kontogeorgis, and the YouBeHero team happily welcomed her to become the organization's ambassador.
The process to become a "hero" is simple. YouBeHero already collaborates with more than 470 online stores, while this number will increase significantly in 2021 with the continuous additions of new e-shops.
All you have to do is go to their website and activate the donation service. Every time you make a purchase at a participating store, the donation is transferred to the organization of your choice, at no additional charge!
Finally, so that no donation goes to waste, YouBeHero has created the "heroic reminder". So, if you install it, your browser (Chrome, Firefox or Edge) will give you a small notification every time you are in a partner store!
Registering on the platform is free and only takes a few seconds: https://www.youbehero.com
