With good sound quality and excellent noise cancellation, Apple 's AirPods Pro can outperform Samsung 's Galaxy Buds Live ; Samsung's wireless earbuds have similar features like noise cancellation and a truly wireless design, at a significantly cheaper price .

Apple AirPods Pro: The best noise cancellation
These wireless earbuds are truly the best all-rounder, especially for iPhone. The sound is well-balanced for music, podcasts, and calls. But their unique feature is that they have excellent active noise cancellation.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Better sound quality and fit
The Galaxy Buds Live, or “Galaxy Beans” due to their unique shape, fit perfectly inside your ear. Depending on the shape of your ear, they may be more comfortable for several hours. The sound quality is excellent when left at the default settings, but you can also tweak the sound profile with presets in the Galaxy Wearable.
Noise cancellation is much better on the AirPods Pro, but the Galaxy Buds Live sound better
Both of these headphones sound good. However, Samsung's headphones have a much more dynamic sound profile, with a dynamic bass response that fits a range of music genres. The AirPods are more neutral, with less bass, which makes them balanced for switching between podcasts and music.
The Galaxy Wearable app (on iOS and Android) lets you change the sound profile to one of six different presets, such as bass boost or cut, unlike their competitor which doesn't have a user-adjustable equalizer. Apple's earbuds will also get an audio update on iOS that will allow them to simulate surround sound.
Thanks to their design, the AirPods Pro have effective active noise cancellation, which truly blocks the most unwanted noise, such as the roar of an airplane engine or the hum of a train.
Comfort and design
You have to admit, Samsung did a pretty good job with a design that's radically different from other wireless earbuds out there. Depending on the shape of your ear, the bean-shaped design fits comfortably in your ear, with no protrusions. They come in bronze, white, and black, and to change tracks or adjust the volume, you simply have to tap on the touchscreen .
AirPods Pro, on the other hand, come in three different sizes that you can change depending on the size of your ear. It is available only in white and for navigating songs, there is a button that points down from the ear which you click.
For water and sweat resistance, the AirPods Pro have a higher IP rating of IPX4 compared to the IPX2 of the Buds Live.
Siri or Bixby
Both of these headphones offer a hands-free experience for interacting with your phone, from changing tracks to reading incoming messages. As you might expect, Apple's headphones use Siri on the iPhone and Samsung's use Bixby.
If you lose your headphones, both allow you to play a sound to find them again, but only the AirPods Pro appear at their last location on a map.
Better battery life
If you want to listen to music or have calls for most of the day, the Galaxy Buds Live last longer. Samsung says the battery lasts six hours with ANC on and eight hours with it off. Apple says the AirPods Pro last 4.5 hours with ANC on and up to 5 hours with it off.
Each case has additional charging time: the Buds Live total up to 29 hours (if you don't use ANC) and the AirPods 24 hours. To charge them via cable, note that they use different plugs, but both charge wirelessly.
