Canonical has announced the first point release of the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) operating system. The LTS (long-term support) version will be supported for five years with security and software updates.Ubuntu 18
Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS is the first of five planned point releases that Canonical plans to release for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver). The update includes all the latest security updates and software packages from April 26, 2018 onwards, which is the release date of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Unfortunately, the 18.04.1 LTS version does not come with an updated kernel.
The Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS version is available for download for all official flavors: Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Budgie and Ubuntu Kylin. It should be noted that the first point release in version 18.04.1 LTS comes as a Desktop and Live Server version only for 64-bit systems, while all other flavors support 32 and 64-bit systems.
Below you can download the ISO that interests you only if you plan to perform a new installation.
Those of you who are already using version 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) can upgrade with the following command in your terminal:

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

Download the ISO you are interested in:
ubuntu-18.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso 1.8G
ubuntu-18.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent
In case you want to download another flavor of the operating system, search for it on the company's server.
