Rajesh Kumar* had a habit of watching porn on Smart TV and often visited adult websites. Recently, the married man was stunned when he discovered a video of him and his wife's private moments on an adult website.
The experts who took over the case eventually discovered that the smart TV in his room had been hacked and the hackers had remotely activated the camera , resulting in it taking videos and photos, without his knowledge.
The young man, terrified by the incident, decided to contact security experts rather than the police, out of embarrassment. The security experts investigated Rajesh*'s room, where the video was shot, but they found no hidden cameras.
It is worth noting that even they, initially, seemed troubled by how the video could have been recorded and then uploaded online .
Then, the mystery was solved by theSmart TV that was in the room and recording the sex scenes.
Subsequent investigations revealed that because Rajesh * was visiting pornographic websites, a hacker hacked into his TV– just like computers – and used the built-in camera to record the scene. Because the TV enabled WiFi-, the recorded video was uploaded online.

The incident raises a big question about how much new technology can invade private spaces. Many manufacturers equip their TVs with many security features, but these cannot guarantee security on the Internet. After all, when hackers can break into security systems of government websites, banks and other sensitive systems, commercial TVs are a piece of cake for them!
