We know that the Dark Web is mainly used by hackers and people interested in doing illegal online activities. These people use the Dark Web to avoid arrest. Not everyone escapes arrest, however. A California man, Tyler Reeves, was arrested and sent to prison for 10 years for selling drugs on the Dark Web. He sold drugs in exchange for Bitcoins. The news has been confirmed by the official Justice Government website.
The 10-year prison sentence for drug trafficking was upheld by U.S. District Judge James V. Selena. The judge also imposed a $15 billion fine.

Drugs such as painkillers, stimulants and tranquilizers were sold by Tyler Reeves. Methamphetamine was also sold by him under the name "Platinum45.".
Reeves was included in the list of the top 5 drug dealers on the Dark Web. He has approximately 300 clients around the world.
Police served a search warrant at Reeves' home in September and found 13 unknown firearms and 14 silencers along with methamphetamine and oxycodone. Police also discovered a Trezor hardware wallet, which is used to store cryptocurrency. Expensive items such as gold and silver bars were also discovered during the search.
