I will not ask why you need a keylogger. I will simply note that installing the application on someone else's system is a very good way to get caught, to be fired, to be dismissed, to be arrested, or to end up in situations you did not expect, depending on where you installed the application.
It is also a very good way to put the entire system at risk, because the small utility program you have downloaded can send the results to you, but also to someone else.
In other words, installing a keylogger on someone else's system is not a very clever move. However, let's assume you are installing the application on your system, to make sure no one is using it at home or in your office, OK;
You can find many keyloggers that run on Windows, but below we will look at some with two advantages compared to the others that are circulating: They did not trigger Windows Defender during download or installation, and 2. they have already been compiled and come with a very easy-to-use installer.
Below we will look at three such keyloggers (guess which one is the best):
Spyrix Free Keylogger
This app had the least pleasant UI of all the ones below, and its many interesting features are hidden until you pay at least $60 for a 12-month license of the professional software. But as a basic keylogger it will do the job.
Even though the application icon is on the Windows taskbar, let's not get bogged down in details because you can hide it manually through the Windows taskbar settings. For the settings, press the three keys CTRL+ALT+A together, and the main screen will appear. There you will see a very large list of all the important things that happened. Ignore the screenshot function because it doesn't work exactly.
Revealer Keylogger
The free version of Revealer Keylogger offers a very easy way to record everything typed on the system. Like the Spyrix application, the application icon appears in the system tray and you have to remove it manually. To see the settings, press the three keys CTRL+ALT+F9 together.
Revealer Keylogger also has a screenshot function and the text recording capabilities are very reliable. You can easily see what the user was typing, in which application, and exactly when they did it.
Revealer Keylogger can send you this information.
StupidKeylogger
StupidKeylogger sounds like Stupid Keylogger but it's not. It doesn't show up in the task manager and is invisible to uninstall from the system in "Programs and Features."
You'll need physical access to a system to get the information it records, as well as to install the application.
Unzip the contents of the keylogger to a system (or USB), and run the “Infect.bat” application to install it. To view the information collected, run “CollectData.bat.” It will create an encrypted log file. Immediately after, run “RecordDecoder.exe” to decrypt it.
The data is now in plain text format.
It should be mentioned that even though the system you will be installing on is yours, it would be a good idea to hide or lock the installation folder.
