A group of hackers “hacked” the online examination for the selection of Indian Air Force (IAF) employees who were not enlisted in Rohtak.
While on Saturday, Rohtak police arrested two people as alleged hackers.
According to Jagbir Singh, SHO of Rohtak city police station, the exams were held from September 13 to 16, and there are five computers that have been hacked.
The test was conducted by an organization commissioned by the Advanced Computer Development Center, Singh said. The fiber optic cable of the test center was installed on the first floor of an adjacent private hospital, he said.
The fraudsters were able to remotely access the computers used in the exam by creating a parallel network. The team helped candidates by giving them the answers to the questions, even if they were just sitting in front of their computers.
"Two men who have been identified as the masterminds of the entire affair and who ran the competition are being sought," Singh said. "They are JS Dahiya, a retired consultant of Jhajjar ITI, and his associate Sanjay Ahlwat, who runs a coaching centre for competitive exams.".
