The development team of the deepin distribution announced the availability of a new version based on the Debian project.
For those who don't know, deepin (formerly Deepin, Deepin Linux, or Hiweed GNU/Linux) is a Debian-based distribution (it was based on Ubuntu until version 15 in late 2015). It aims to provide an elegant, user-friendly, and reliable operating system.
The project's developers have created their own desktop environment called DDE or Deepin Desktop Environment, which is based on the Qt 5 toolkit.
The Deepin distribution, as you will notice, focuses its attention on intuitive design.

The applications it uses, such as Deepin Software Center, DMusic, and DPlayer, are tailored for the average user. It is easy to install and use, and seems to be a good alternative for users who want to switch from Windows to Linux.
The new version, deepin 15.4.1, provides mostly minor updates compared to the previous version 15.4.
“Deeπin is a Linux distribution dedicated to providing a beautiful, easy-to-use, secure, and reliable system for users around the world. The revised deepin 15.4.1 release added Launcher mini mode, application startup animation and window preview effects, optimized 2-D window manager functionality, fixed bugs discovered by forum users, and updated Deepin applications to their latest versions.
