Φαίνεται πως η Apple κάνει κινήσεις για να καθαρίσει το App Store της.

After removing the outdated apps, the company now imposes restrictions on how developers describe their apps. Apple now rejects updates and new app submissions that contain the word «free» in their title, according to VentureBeat.
The name, icons, screenshots or previews of the app that appear in the App Store include a reference to its price. Please remove such price references from your app's name, including any references to the words free or discounted», Apple is said to emphasize.
Apple has yet to comment on the change, other than to confirm its existence, but it seems like yet another sign that Cupertino wants to clean up App Store .
The company has also shed the outdated apps (approximately 200,000) that have not been optimized for newer iPhone and iPad.
While the change in how developers describe their apps in the App Store appears to be a mild tweak, it aligns with the company's ongoing efforts to weed out old and low-quality apps from its online store.
Many developers use the word «free» in the name of their app to attract new users. In this way an app can appear higher in some search results, but in reality few high‑quality apps use the word «free» in their name (with possible exception of apps that have both free and paid offerings). Apple may be trying to squash apps with weird names to improve the overall quality of its App Store.
Even the company could simply be trying to reduce confusion. As Apple notes in the developer guidelines, listing a price in an app name could cause confusion for people living in other countries where the price may be different.
In any case, we will probably learn more at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference later this year.
