New Windows Phone is coming!

Microsoft has often been criticized for abandoning Windows Phone, and while the software giant keeps its mouth shut regarding mobile ventures, companies and partners continue to invest in its mobile operating system.

Windows

WhartonBrooks is one of the companies that was preparing a mobile device with Windows 10, and although its future has been in doubt for a long time, a post on Twitter shows that the project is still alive and closer to starting than we think.

A tweet broadcast live a few hours ago by WhartonBrooks Cerulean Mobile states that work on the company's mobile device is progressing and engineers are preparing to start the thorough final testing stage before the phone appears on the markets.

Regarding the technical specifications, very few are known at this point, but it is believed that it could be a mid-range device with support for premium features, such as Continuum.

There are some sources indicating that the device could be similar to the Coship Moly PC Phone W6, which itself is a mid-range phone model that supports the said Continuum.

If this is the case, the phone should have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, along with a 13-megapixel camera that offers above-average quality.

Meanwhile, as far as Microsoft, Windows 10 Mobile is still a worthy purchase, as long as the rumored dissolution of the Lumia has not been announced. Previously, it was believed that the company would retire the Lumia brand in December, but phones that are part of that series will continue to be available both in the United States and in overseas markets, including the Microsoft Store.

The Lumia 950 XL, which is Microsoft's current flagship, sold out in December but the device is again available in the United States (although it remains difficult to find the model in other markets, such as Europe).
