The fact that the Nokia 6 is available exclusively in the Chinese market seems to be hurting sales of the new Android smartphone since while high demand from the public is assumed due to the company's dynamic comeback, this was not achieved.
The Nokia 6 is only available in China for now, sold exclusively through major retailer JD.com. Customers can check online for availability, but will have to pay a €8.50 order fee to place an order.
Statistics regarding the demand rate of the Nokia 6 show that the new smartphone achieved 250,000 registrations within twenty-four hours while pre-orders reached 100,000 in the first four days alone.
The Nokia 6 will make its debut in the Chinese market on January 19th and will be priced at 230.16 euros. It will probably also come to Greece in the coming days, but its price will increase slightly.
The Nokia 6 is a mid-range smartphone that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat software. It features a 5.5-inch display with 1080 full HD resolution, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage up to 256GB. The new smartphone also features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and PDAF (phase detection autofocus) as well as an 8-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology, a fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack and dual-SIM support.
The only downside we can find to the new Nokia 6 is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. But that's a minor weakness compared to the rest of its excellent specs.
