Tuesday Patch today, update immediately

Tuesday Patch for Microsoft operating system users today. The company released a total of 16 security updates to fix issues in its software and operating system. The updates concern the Internet Explorer and Edge browsers, Office, and Exchange Server.Tuesday Patch

There are 5 critical security updates in this Patch Tuesday and obviously, users and IT administrators are advised to update their systems immediately.

If you're still using Microsoft's browsers (Edge on Windows 10 or Internet Explorer on any version of Windows), you should immediately install MS16-063 and MS16-068, which the company says are cumulative updates for IE and Edge, respectively. Both aim to fix bugs that could allow remote code execution by a malicious user, as well as flaws that could allow them to gain the same privileges as the logged-in user.

IT administrators using Windows Server should immediately install MS16-071, an update that is supposed to fix a vulnerability in Microsoft's DNS server that has been rated critical.
Security experts are warning that everyone should install this update as soon as possible on their servers.

Just like all other updates, they are available through Windows Update, regardless of the version of Windows you are using.
