Microsoft has announced that July 29th will be the end date for its free Windows 10 upgrade offer. However, today the company announced that the free upgrade promo will continue to apply to users who use assistive technologies.

So according to the company they will be allowed to install the new operating system without having to pay a license fee.
Let's remind you that after July 29, anyone who wants to upgrade to Windows 10 from a computer with Windows 7 or 8.1 will have to pay a license fee that costs $119 for Windows 10 Home.
However, the company's customers who use assistive technologies, such as screen readers, will continue to be able to upgrade for free even after July 29th.
Daniel Hubbell Microsoft reports:
“As you may have heard, the free Windows 10 upgrade offer for our customers running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 is set to expire on July 29. We want to clarify that the deadline does not apply to customers who use assistive technologies. …we are committed to ensuring that assistive technology users have the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 10 for free.”
