ROR[RG] is the hacker who breached the Adult Friend Finder service, from which he released highly sensitive personal information from over 3.8 million users.

The hacker claims that he released the data because he believes the Turkish police are corrupt, something that many activists, journalists, and organizations that support human rights also support.

Turkey is often implicated in various scandals involving corruption and abuse of power by the authorities. Members of the international press and the hackers of Anonymous are convinced that the Turkish government is behind the death of journalist Serena Shim.

Anonymous also launched a cyberwar against Turkey, accusing it of aiding Islamic State fighters in the fighting in Syria, including providing medical support to its wounded fighters.

Furthermore, Turkish media have repeatedly accused police forces of using excessive force in suppressing public protests in major cities in Turkey.

The torrent file with the leaked data is about 2 GB compressed. When unzipped, 17.8GB of information is revealed. All the data is in .myd and .myi formats, standard MySQL server backup file formats.
