Google has just released Android Studio 2.0 beta, the latest version of its integrated development environment (IDE) for Android.
Until now, the app was available as a preview in the Canary channel. However, the company seems to have pushed Android Studio 2.0 to the Beta channel.
In November, Google introduced Android Studio 2.0, the second major release of its IDE. Version 2.0 brings a lot of improvements, such as Instant Run, a faster Android emulator, and a new GPU profiler.
Google hasn't said when it will push Android Studio 2.0 to the stable channel, but it will likely be ready in time for the company's I/O developer conference in May.
