Microsoft has just released Windows 10 build 10565 to users enrolled in the Fast Ring of the Windows Insider program.
The new build brings new features as well as improvements to old ones that have been reported as problematic.
Windows 10 build 10565 comes with the Skype messaging app built-in.
Microsoft Edge finally gained tab preview options when you hover your mouse over your computer's taskbar.
At the same time, Edge has also been updated with options to sync your favorites. So if you have more than one Windows 10 device, it will be easier to browse the web with the new app, as your content will be automatically synced.
But one of the biggest changes concerns resolving Windows activation problems.
Microsoft explains:
“If you install this build of Windows 10 on a PC and it doesn’t activate automatically, you can enter the Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 product key that you used to activate the previous version of Windows on the same device and Windows 10 will activate. This can be done by going to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and selecting “Change product key.”.
If you are performing a clean installation of Windows 10, you can also enter the product key from previous versions of Windows on devices that meet the installation requirements.”
