ASUS with the ZenFone 2 is trying to establish itself in the smartphone market, providing enviable specifications in a good package that comes with a moderate price.
However, the company believes it can add something extra to this device. That's why it announced the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition. The variant of the device has a polygonal shape on the back but also comes with the impressive feature of 256GB of storage.
256GB of storage isn't something we see often, so owners of the device shouldn't have to worry about needing a microSD card no matter how much they load up their device.
ASUS has announced the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition only for Brazil for now, and it has not yet been confirmed whether the company has plans to release this variant in other markets.
Apart from the design on the back and the increased storage space, the device looks more or less like the ZenFone 2. Its display is 5.5 inches, its processor is 64-bit Intel Atom with 4GB of RAM. The rear camera is 13 megapixels and the front is 5 megapixels.
The ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will be released in Brazil next month, and ASUS has not yet announced the price of the device.
