The Mozilla Foundation has released a hotfix version of the Firefox 39.0 browser.
The security release is very important and urgent, and this is proven by the fact that while version 40.0 is almost ready, the Mozilla Foundation released the bug fix without waiting for its official release. 
Firefox 39.0.3 update fixes a critical security issue in the built-in PDF viewer.
“Security researcher Cody discovered a way to violate the origin policy by injecting script into a non-privileged part of the built-in PDF Viewer. This allows an attacker to read and steal sensitive local files on the victim’s computer,” the Mozilla Foundation reports.
“The Mozilla Foundation has received reports that an exploit based on the vulnerability is already circulating.”
It would be a good idea to immediately update the Firefox you are using to version 39.0.3.
