Microsoft released Windows 10 build 10041 earlier this week, but it provided a very brief description of the new features this version brings. Of course, there was no full breakdown of the changes in this particular version. Until today.
The well-known Russian leaker WZor published the official documentation for build 10041, which also includes the “What's new” section. This makes it clearer to us that in this build the company strengthened its new operating system and did not add new features.
As you can see for yourself from the leaked image, the feature Microsoft is highlighting in this build is the ability to drag a window from a virtual desktop. The feature will allow for easy movement across multiple desktops faster and easier.
At the same time, the company also describes the so-called “filtered taskbar,” which, according to the description, will allow “only windows running a process to appear in the taskbar.” Previously, windows running a process appeared with a small line at the bottom of their icons in the taskbar.
Microsoft in this version tried to make Windows 10 better for touch devices, so the operating system now has improved handwriting recognition.
At the same time, the digital assistant Cortana became more powerful, and will work on home computers in China, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain, which are the countries currently supported.
In addition to all these changes, Windows 10 build 10041 is significantly faster than the previous build, which is living proof that we are getting closer to the final stages of development of the new operating system.
