A user from China decided to make the most useless mod by installing Windows 98 on his mobile phone, an iPhone 6 Plus.

Installing Windows on an Apple machine has always been a tempting prospect. Not only because of the fierce rivalry between the two tech companies, but because people want the best of both worlds. That's why Parallels and VMware Fusion exist.
Of course, sometimes this process is done just for fun, as in the case below, where a user posted photos of his mobile phone, an iPhone 6 Plus, on the internet while installing "ancient" software, Windows 98.
Of course, nothing useful comes out of this mod. On the contrary, there are a bunch of errors involved in the installation process for a final result that no one needs. But the fact that this user was able to fully install the operating system on the iPhone disk and then boot it is a feat in itself. The hack, according to his writings, was achieved using the iDOS emulator that has been developed to play classic DOS games on iOS devices.
It doesn't say if it was able to play any of the games using this configuration, but we assume that wouldn't be possible, due to the huge variances in input mechanisms (mouse + keyboard vs. multi-touch).
If you want to learn how to install Windows on your iPhone, click the link above and read the instructions in his post. Just make sure you brush up on your Chinese.
We know you're a step ahead and asking, all that's great, but can anyone install Windows XP? Well, the answer is yes. According to user xyq058775 who made the post, you can't do it the traditional way, that is, using the Idos emulator. But he does have some relevant instructions on how to do it.
