A new misleading message has started circulating on Facebook, via friends who seem to have no idea what the service's Terms of Service say. The message urges anyone who reads it to repost it immediately to protect their data.
Of course, this is not true as with each new registration, the user indicates that they accept the terms of use of the social network.
We have heard and read various reports from time to time about the largest social network being involved in legal disputes with the European Union. However, the Terms of Use or TOS have not changed.
The message appears to be a poor translation of a corresponding English one circulating at the same time. Read the message circulating and avoid filling Timeline with garbage.
