SpeakerZen.me is closing its cycle after winning 1stprize at the first Google Launchpad-Athens in October 2013.
The first Google Launchpad in Athens (October 7-10, 2013 at the National Museum of Contemporary Art) supported the exploitation of young people's thinking in Southeastern Europe on the economy. Financial-Academy 's “ SpeakerZen ” won first prize.
Google Launchpad brought together recently founded technology companies and programmers (over 80 developers and potential new entrepreneurs) from all over Greece, with the aim of sharing their ideas and technical skills with others, creating teams, new products for the market, and growing their businesses.
THE FIRST PRIZE!
Led and mentored by Panagiotis Tzellos, the Financial-Academy.gr team, based in Athens, won first prize for the startup company “SpeakerZen”, an application that allowed for direct input of information from mobile phones, helping speakers improve their skills as they receive immediate feedback from their audience.

Five of the SpeakerZen.me team members were students in the framework of their internship at Financial-Academy.gr who participated in Vivafunds.com. In parallel with this startup, due to the organization of the conferences by Financial-Academy.gr and European-Forums.eu, some participated in the creation of ConferenceV.com, a web application that provided interaction between audience and speakers and had already been used in 4 conferences of Financial-Academy.gr. Thus, this application was decided to participate in the Google Launchpad competition under the guidance of Panagiotis Tzellou, Entrepreneur, founder of Financial-Academy.eu and the SpeakerZen.me startup team.
Financial -Academy started its activities in June 2010 with the aim of educating and training professionals through seminars, by renowned professionals, who are active domestically and internationally. It also provides the opportunity for student interns to learn how to create startup companies from scratch. Its aim is to create a vital place where information and knowledge will be produced and transmitted quickly, but also used successfully by the participants of the seminars.
Google Launchpad is part of Google's effort to empower entrepreneurs around the world through programs, partnerships, and products, aiming to provide meaningful economic opportunities for individuals, businesses, and communities. Greece is the second country to host Google Launchpad, after Google Campus in Tel Aviv.
