New information leaked from China suggests that Apple is putting the finishing touches on the iPhone 6to begin testing for durability, speed, and network performance.
VentureBeat reports that “the new iPhone 6 design includes a surface under the shell that will connect to an inductive charging pad to transfer power.”
Inductive charging simply means “wireless charging.” According to the publication, future iPhone 6 owners will be able to charge their devices without wires.
The website also mentions that the iPhone 6, with its NFC (Near Field Communications) technology, will allow for mobile payments, depending on the store.
The leak also details the phone's cellular capabilities, saying that "The new iPhone 6 will feature much faster LTE (category 6), capable of reaching 300 mbps."
