The developers of our well-known WinRAR have just released the Android app version.
RAR for the Android platform comes to smartphones or tablets running Google's operating system and allows you to create RAR and ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, 7z, ISO, and ARJ archives.
According to the developers, in addition to ZIP files, the unzip function also supports ZIPX with bzip2, LZMA, and PPMd compression.
It is also worth noting that RAR for Android includes additional commands such as “repair,” “benchmark,” and “recovery record” for restoring and repairing corrupted files.
Currently, the application is available only in English.
