LG has unveiled the LG G Pro 2 in Korea on Thursday, confirming rumors. The device features a 5.9-inch 1920x1080-pixel display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, a 13-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB and 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD cards.
All of this is what you'd expect from a high-end smartphone these days, but LG has a lot more tricks up its sleeve. The device's camera can record 4K video, and HD 120fps, which should offer slow-motion video.
The device runs Android 4.4 - specially customized for the G Pro 2 and features a 1W speaker, so it should have "30% louder" sound than its predecessor, the G Pro.
The device features a very thin bezel (3.3 mm) mounted on a fairly thin profile (8.3 mm), as well as a removable battery of 3,200 mAh.
The LG G Pro 2 device will be available in three colors: Titanium, White, and Silver. The device was officially released today in Korea, but not on the global market. We will probably have the chance to see the G Pro 2 and learn when it will be released worldwide at the Mobile World Congress that will take place in Barcelona from the 24th to the 27th of February.
