However, Qualcomm senior vice president and chief marketing officer Anand Chandrasekher doesn't seem impressed. Referring to Apple's new A7 64-bit chip, he said: "I think it's a marketing ploy. The consumer won't get any benefit from it," Techworld reports .
Chandrasekher of more memory (above 4GB), which is clearly absent from the iPhone 5S which has 1GB of RAM.
However, he admitted that we may see iPhones with more RAM in the future.
Until then, Apple fans can be proud that their phone has a 64-bit processor.
