Microsoft has officially announced the release of Office Mobile for the iPhone, a rather limited app that allows device owners to create and edit documents.
And while the event sounds very exciting for Apple fanboys and girls, it's not that exciting, as while the application is available for free from the App Store, it can only be used by those who have subscriptions to the Office 365 Premium Home and Office 365 ProPlus services.
The Office Mobile app for iPhone has similar features to the version already available for Windows Phones and allows you to easily log in to your Office 365 account and have access to edit and create Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
The application is optimized specifically for small-screen devices, such as the iPhone, to create or read a document with ease.
Another interesting feature of Office Mobile for iPhone is the built-in sharing option that can save documents directly to SkyDrive or SkyDrive Pro. Additionally, users can send a document as an attachment to their email.
