Yesterday we covered in detail the call of Apple which was represented mainly by its CEO Tim Cook before the Senate regarding the “scandal of the company's tax exemptions. Many things were said, often in strong tones, from both sides, with Tim Cook defending Apple's positions.
In what was examined, the revelation by Tim Cook stood out that Apple will boost the American economy more by moving part of its manufacturing capacity from Asia to the country, specifically to Texas.
Apple, therefore, confirmed in the best way that it has already invested $100 million to start building factories in Texas not only for assembling Macs but also for their own manufacturing, with components coming from other regions and suppliers in America.
“We’re investing $100 million to build a Mac product line here in the U.S.,” Cook said. “The product will be assembled in Texas, include components made in Illinois and Florida, and rely on equipment produced in Kentucky and Michigan.”
Soon, your next Mac will be able to have “Made in Texas USA” written on its back
