How would you feel if you could use up all the free GB you get each month on your mobile phone in 16 seconds? I know, no one would want to, but technology is moving in that direction with Samsung now saying that they will release the first 5G devices on the market in 2020 (don't worry, we'll still be struggling with 4G).
According to a report by Yonhap News, Samsung is testing a platform for future mobile internet connections, which will have 64 antennas and together will be able to download a total of 1 GB of data per second.
What else? The technology they use is not the latest, so theoretically by the time such a smartphone is released, perhaps speeds will increase even more.
Of course, several questions arise, such as what battery will such a device need? Will the industry accept adopting a technological standard controlled by Samsung? Of course, we still have 7 years ahead of us, so a lot will change by then.
