Tactus was the case company that showed us, as we mentioned in our previous article, the cases for the upcoming 5th generation iPad. Today, they posted the above photo on their website, claiming that it is the exterior of the cheap iPhone that Apple is rumored to make available sometime in 2013.
The outer casing, according to the report, is made of polycarbonate plastic similar to that of the iPhone 3G and 3GS. It will have a 3.5-inch screen and is impressively taller and wider than the iPhone 4S. Its camera will be 5-megapixels similar to that of the iPhone 4 while its processor will be the A5 that is currently in the iPad Mini. It will also not come in white and black only but also in blue, yellow and red. The report finally states that according to reliable sources this particular cheap iPhone will make its appearance in October, specifically on the 15th and will cost around $300 or between £229-£249.
Now, in no case can we say with certainty that the above photo is authentic or that the evidence cited by Tactus in such detail has a strong basis and is intertwined with Apple's dictates.
Our comment, however, is that all of the above is very close to what we have been hearing lately about a cheap iPhone that Apple will soon launch.
