At the All Things D conference the day before yesterday, when Terry Myerson took the stage to talk about the future of Windows Phone, he also talked a little about Apple and Google, saying that iOS is "boring.".
I feel like Apple lacks a sense of urgency. When iOS 5 came out, there was a fifth row of icons, nothing else, you're like, okay, they've run out of ideas? Is iOS getting boring?
On Android…. it’s a mess. Even though Chrome OS and Android come together, Chrome doesn’t offer the same flexibility.
Myerson was then asked about his opinion on Facebook Home and whether it will come to Windows Phone, but he avoided answering. As for what he said about iOS, it seems to be purely his personal opinion, because iOS devices are selling non-stop.
