Android may have a bigger market share than iOS, but Apple's Safari browser is still the king of the mobile web. According to Net Applications, Safari accounted for 61.79% of all mobile web traffic in March, up from 55.41% in February.
The Android browser, despite being installed on a lot of devices, only managed 21.86% in March. A much smaller percentage than Safari, but it still came in second.
Opera Mini came third with 8.4%, Chrome fourth with 2.43%, Internet Explorer running on Windows Phone fifth with 1.99% and Blackberry's browser sixth with just 0.91%.
Safari revolutionized mobile browsing in 2007 and it seems that to this day it is still holding strong and is the leader, leaving competitors behind by a very large margin.
